New Members - How Did You Get To MJJC?

Hey guys,

As the title says, I just want to find out how new members are getting here, whether google, word of mouth, Facebook, Twitter etc.

I just want to do some research on how you got here.

I don't quite remember, I was just Googling around, reading various articles about the upcoming premieres, I think I ended up following a link to Facebook, then found MJJC. I was trying to find out if the 3D effects used for TII Thriller might be part of the new release/viewing specifically.

I didn't join immediately, lol, just being honest. I kinda looked around a bit, lurked, liked what I read and decided to join. I saw you also had a lot of stuff written about TII, which also interested me. I made a donation quickly because I wanted to "unlock" the older archives. So much good reading, I lost track of time the first week I was here and became totally absorbed.
 
I used to be a member years ago. I discuss Michael a lot on FB groups and on Instagram and I decided to come back here too!
 
Your site was mentioned on a video on you tube about MJ. I have watched so many but if i come across it again then i'll post the link.

I was in high school when I first registered on MJJC. Forgot all about it, was busy in school, did not own a computer and Internet connection. Re-registered just recently when I saw the Twitter page suggested to be followed on Twitter. :)
 
i was a junior in high school just bored on google. i "discovered" mj as a freshie. i was over curious so i registered. i forgot about MJJC because my life was alot then this fall i re-registered because i had zero friends because anxiety makes it hard. i remembered in high school i fit in on here so i came back, and obviously i'm here :)

I hope in the meantime you found friends in real life, too? There are always people who you can connect to, just have to find them (I know, this is the complicated part šŸ™ƒ). Just don't think that something is wrong with you, you just haven't met the right people yet. Nice to meet you!
 
When MJ was alive, I misjudged him as I believed what the media was saying about him. I liked this music though. Only last week, I discovered the truth and became a huge fan of Michael. I regret making wrong judgement in the past, and I am crying every single day because there is no way to personally apologise to Michael and tell him that I love him. I don't have a chance to ask for his forgiveness. With sorrowful heart, I came across MJJC, and decided to join to connect with more people.....

Hello! Same here! It's like I'm reading myself šŸ˜† I also discovered MJ in September 2024. Before that, I also misjudged and used to believe everything I heard about him. I also felt bad for believing all of this bad stuff. Now the best I can do is connect with people here and enjoy his music and legacy.

To answer to Gaz, I was scrolling through videos on Facebook and, out of nowhere, a video of MJ appeared in my algorithm. And because I watched the video, the algorithm started to show me more and more... I was so AMAZED by what I saw that my curiosity prompted me to do some research on him. I stumbled upon this forum somewhat by chance during my research and decided to sign up after a month of lurking!

I am so angry at the power of media and the press back in those days. They basically brainwashed the public. Poor Michael....

I also have been watching so many videos and doing A LOT of research about Michael. And the more I do that, the more i miss him..!!
