Nintendo Switch 2

I think I'm going to get it based on how well it looks. Much better than the reports.

Cronos and Star Wars, it's a good week for S2!
Yeah I am surprised it is running this well. I really expected Ubisoft to just throw it on there to get more sales, but it looks like they actually put effort into the port.

Hollow Knight Silksong released today! I tried Hollow Knight around 2 years ago and it didn’t click with me, because I felt lost and didn’t know what to do, so I quit after 2 hours. I gave it a second try 2 weeks ago when the launch date of Silksong was made public. I absolutely fell in love with it this time. I’m around 30 hours in right now. I It’s so good but I want to finish asap to start Silksong!

I started playing a few days ago and it's taken me a while to get into it for sure, once I got over the the whole being kinda lost thing I started to really enjoy it, though.

Following recent speculation, a Nintendo Direct is confirmed to be taking place this Friday, September 12. The broadcast will begin at 6am PST/9am ET/2pm BST, and will run for roughly a whole hour.

As for what’s going to be included in the stream, Nintendo has yet to confirm. But seeing as it's taking place just one day before the 40th birthday of the Super Mario Bros. series, it wouldn’t be a shock to see some plumber-related news.

For context, a similar showcase took place to mark the 35th anniversary of the original Super Mario and included Super Mario 3D World: Bowser’s Fury, and limited release of Super Mario 3D All-Stars, Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, and a Super Mario Bros Game & Watch.

What could we expect this time around? Well, we certainly wouldn’t say no to the reveal of a brand-new 3D Mario platformer to mark the Nintendo Switch 2 era, some Mario Kart World DLC, or a sneak peek at the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Movie sequel, scheduled for April 2026.

I dunno what I should feel about that motorbike. At first, I thought this would be some new racing game set in the Metroid universe.

The environment looks a bit empty, but riding a bike in an open world is something that hasn't been seen before in the series.

I wish they didn’t show this, didn’t look great. Hopefully it’s better than what it looked like. Everything else they’ve shown about this game before looked so good.

Edit: only talking about that desert part. When the game went first person again looked cool.
