I've recently noticed my Off the Wall CD has this weird tiny pause at 0:54 mark in It's the Falling in Love, can someone let know if that's always been in there or is that a glitch of some sort? The Imgur link has a video of it. It's not like a big issue because you can't really hear it if you don't have headphones on but it kind of bothers me a little lol.
The CD I have is a European 1991 re-issue, this one to be exact: https://www.discogs.com/release/196...IK1JqpALJQvR2zA-UQQCAaSCqinLmjp2oViJd3sdKsU97.

My CD rip file didn't have it. So it should be a glitch in the ripping process.
What software are you ripping with?

I rip through iTunes (for my over a decade-old Sony MP4 lol), but what's in the video is playing straight from the CD, not a rip.
It also appears when I play it on a CD player so I'm pretty sure it's an issue with the album itself.

The CD is like almost perfectly clean with no scratches, so I don't think so.

If the CD has been stored in a hot, humid environment or in direct sunlight, there is a high probability that the disc has rotted.

Here are photos of the CD if that helps. There doesn't seem to be any disc rot, I think it'd be pretty visible?
I also wanna mention, the rest of the album plays perfectly fine, just that one tiny bit in It's The Falling In Love has this pause. Again, it's not that big of an issue to me but I'm curious as to what could cause it lol.

@love1sfatal, keep in mind that certain versions of Michael Jackson's albums are saddled with technical errors/glitches in songs.

These technical errors/glitches unfortunately were not corrected later (during the mastering process), and they appear not just on his studio albums, but also on his compilation albums, special edition albums, and so on.

Other songs that have such issues are, for instance, 'Give In To Me', 'BAD', and 'Jam'.

Mine is the 2001 Special Edition and I can confirm that it doesn't has that pause error.

You probably have a faulty CD, I bought an album back in 2013 that was brand new from the store but it would always skip that one track around one minute in. It's pretty rare but it can happen.

yeah the 1991 reissues have that glitch, got it on my early 90s but not on the 84 and 98 issues for example

Probably a scratch that you can't see.

Clean the cd and see if that helps.

its not a scratch or something, its in the master of the CD

yeah months later im thinking thats it lol, either way im okay with it tbh

What are the issues on Give In To Me and Jam?
