Ozzy Osbourne

Ozzy Osbourne might be done performing live, but he's still got more to say. The Prince of Darkness will release a new memoir titled Last Rites on Oct. 7.
The book will detail the various health issues Osbourne has faced over the past several years (including a Parkinson's diagnosis that he revealed in 2020), which ultimately forced him to retire from the road. But Last Rites will also shine a light on Osbourne's turbulent marriage to his wife and manager, Sharon, preparations for the Back to the Beginning farewell concert and other aspects of his life and career.
Ozzy Osbourne painted five works of art with help from some chimpanzees – and the results are being auctioned with the aim of raising money for the endangered ape species.
“I paint because it gives me peace of mind, but I don’t sell my paintings,” Osbourne said in a statement. “I’ve made an exception with these collaborations as it raises money for Save the Chimps, a sanctuary for hundreds of apes rescued from labs, roadside zoos and wildlife traffickers.”

Omega Auctions added: “Ozzy painted intricate, multicolored basecoats on five canvases, after which ape artists at the sanctuary added brushstrokes…This is a rare opportunity to own an original work of art by Ozzy, and the five works in this collection will be sold to raise vital funds for the work of Save The Chimps.”

Battle to save Ozzy Osbourne's life: Air ambulance medics were called to Black Sabbath singer's Buckinghamshire mansion on Tuesday morning and spent two hours treating him before he died surrounded by loved ones

I am re-watching "The Osbournes" rn, the nostalgia is real. Remember when I watched it when it came out.

Hope his family can cope with everything. When you watch the TV show you can (besides all the madness and chaos) really see they loved each other very much.

"Remembering my brother in music, Ozzy Osbourne. I've always looked back at this commercial we shot in '03 so fondly. The last time we spoke was backstage of Dancing with The Stars season 9, when he told me how much he loved the Osmond song, "Crazy Horses"...talk about crazy! Thank you for always bringing your authentic personality to everything you've touched. From Crazy Horses to Crazy Trains, Rest In Peace."

❤️‍🔥 ❤️‍🔥 ❤️‍🔥 He had the most beautiful and sweetest Soul and that is what I was a Fan of when I was a lost teenager, and he never lost that CHILD-LIKE quality and sillyness as you can see in this raw and tender video about his kids, and how adorable he was when he sang "Happy Birthday" to his CUTE little grand-daughter! (You can hear GRAMPA's voice above everyone's lol Grandfather Ozzy OMG!)
That is a true Hero of Spirit in my books!

"Crazy Train" has long been a favorite in concert, on radio and inside your favorite sports venue. But Ozzy Osbourne's solo-career-opening single somehow stalled at No. 108 upon release in 1980.

Not anymore. Billboard's newly updated Hot 100 chart for Aug. 3 has "Crazy Train" soaring to No. 47 following the former Black Sabbath frontman's death last week.

Which Musicians Attended Ozzy's Funeral?

The actual funeral service was private to Ozzy's family and loved ones. Among those in attendance were the Prince of Darkness' Black Sabbath bandmates — Tony Iommi, Bill Ward and Geezer Butler — as well as Ozzy's longtime guitarist Zakk Wylde, James Hetfield of Metallica, Slipknot's Corey Taylor, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Elton John and Yungblud [via The Sun].

Do you know any rare Ozzy songs that deserve to be released on an album? A song like this:

The world is still mourning the loss of heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne, and now even the British royal guards have paid their respects in spectacular fashion. On July 30, during the iconic Changing of the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace, The Band of the Coldstream Guards performed a stirring rendition of the Black Sabbath classic "Paranoid" in honor of Osbourne's passing.
