What are some you want to hear on this list or not on this list?

Personally, no.

Not the biggest fans of duets and some of those titles I've never heard before so it would be wrong to suggest an artist if we've never even heard the song or know that it's 100% genuine.

Don't see the appeal of Omer Bhatti doing a duet with MJ lol

There are so many MJ songs that are legit legendary hits - I don't want any of them being tampered with.

Michael was made for doing duets, he has done so his entire career. A McCartney duet album would have been immensely successful and good based on the 3 songs they did together.
Their was also a good clash of voices with Jermaine making them complementary.

One of the biggest misses in pop history is that his duet with Whitney didn’t materialize but truth be told George Michael did a fantastic job too on “If I Told You That”.

The only duet partner that doesn’t convince me was Freddie Mercury, his voice was too powerful for Michael.

But Freddie Mercury used to sing and record his songs with a tenor voice (i.e., a high and almost feminine sounding voice).

It appears that Michael Jackson's refusal to duet with Whitney Houston (on 'If I Told You That') was a way for him to take revenge on her for what she had done to him many years ago (when she declined his offer to duet with him on 'I Just Can't Stop Loving You').

Queen- other then the 3 tracks he and Freddie worked on together...although we still haven't heard a peep about Victory which intrigues me very much.

Kenny Loggins- Always loved the king of soundtrack songs. Kenny has a great catalog and I think him and MJ would have made something fantastic.

Lionel Richie- They wrote music together and even sang background together on Going To Alabama with Kenny Rogers. A duet with him and Lionel would have been awesome

Tina Turner- She's the Undisputed Queen Of Rock. 'nuff said

Aerosmith- MJ loved to do the occasional rock track. Who better then the boys from Boston?

He! He could make a lot of good rock music with Michael... during 90s

Hearing Michael and Whitney on a song together would have been special. I'd take another MJ and Stevie duet, their chemistry is unmatched

Not a fan of having too many duets but, some ideas in disorder...
- Joan Baez and MJ in the 70s or early 80s.
- Rage Against the Machine with MJ in the 90s (seems totally surreal to me but, due to political aspects of RATM... but I'd be curious about the result and think it would have more potential than Nirvana...)
- Mariah Carey with MJ, in the second half of the 90s (not necessarily my dream, but it seemed kind of a dream of any popular music listener back then).
- Joe Strummer and MJ... any time... maybe The Road To Rock'n'Roll...

Nine Inch Nails would have been interesting because it's been said that Michael was a huge fan of the album Downward Spiral and would listen to it during the making of the HIStory album.

No, no it's really not. What a strange little headcanon

She did not refuse, Arista Records wouldn't let her. This is common knowledge and was confirmed years ago. She WANTED to do it. Clive Davis blocked it.

Victory is apparently a scratch demo with Freddie and MJ adlibbing over a basic beat.

A solid love song, with an attractive lady.

A modern "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" except so much better. Done with an unknown singer who belts it out like nobody's business. I don't care about the established names. There are so many good singers out there: many of them undiscovered. The song would not be cheesy, or 'safe'. Mike would introduce the song to the public during a live concert with intimate seating. The crowd would have their minds blown.

A solid man-woman love song. It's the foundation of humanity.
More philosophy as it comes to hand.

That would be a good idea
