This is a very popular photo, but I have always wondered if this was photoshopped or if he actually owned that? And if he did, I want to ask Why! Why! Why!

I'm assuming the costume was hired from a theatrical costumier. That would be my guess. Hopefully Michaels Lover will be along in a minute to answer your question. Michael did seem to be a bit obsessed with British / European monarchy and pageantry so I think that's why he's doing it.

Don't like the photo, myself. Sometimes Michael truly baffles me, lol. I still love him, though.

oh god, that's such a relief. I got it into my head that the weird photo of Michael in mock pageantry clothing had been turned into a poster and maybe when you were a teenager it was on your bedroom wall. I was trying to think of a tactful way of saying, 'that sounds nice, dear'.

OK. RTT. With you. Normal service has now been resumed, lol.

And that IS a beautiful poster. Although, personally, I couldn't live with something that beautiful in my everyday life. I mean, as a photo, yeah, but not as a poster. I think I would have been overwhelmed. I mean, apart from his actual beauty there is his poise and stillness, the hair, the intense gaze, the beautiful colours of the whole image. I could also go on about the fabric and the play of light and shade on the costume but you all might have had enough of that (I haven't, lol). But, yeah, gorgeous photo.

I actually have it beautifully framed with a maroon-burgandy matte border, I found it at a collectible like shop at the mall years ago I had to have him lol🥰🥰

No, on second thoughts it's not European pageantry, is it? It's a version of a Roman centurion's outfit, I think. Something like that. Still blimmin' weird, though. Maybe he thinks he's Julius Caesar.

Oh, that sounds beautiful. That sounds like a really nice colour combination. Mm, I can see it in my mind's eye. And it def is an image that deserves to be properly framed. Lovely.

So can we just talk about how insanely attractive he is? RTT is one of those looks and videos where I am less focused on him being sexy and more focused on his undeniably beautiful aesthetic (maybe this is what @zinniabooklover is always experiencing? lol). I find myself in aww of his appearance in this.

In this photo he is radiant. His skin is practically glowing. His eyes are so intense. They look endless, like gazing into them you might collapse in on yourself and never recover. I mean that very seriously. Like, in this photo, his eyes are magnetic. I can see how someone might fall in love with him instantly and not know how to move on lol. Or maybe that's just me...

His eyes, his lips, his hair, his bone structure...the expression on his face which for me is saying so much, even though there is almost no direct and discernible expression to pinpoint. He is just wildly evocative.

Ok...maybe I do find him sexy here. Idk. I just want to write sonnets about him.

This is what I was talking about when we were all on the 'Those Eyes' thread. You could fall into his eyes and just be lost forever. And that would be just fine, thank you. His eyes ARE endless. Entire worlds are in there and you just ... go there and would never need to be anywhere else.

Did we add the word 'radiant' to the list? Cos we need to. I can't remember if we did but radiant SO sums him up. Especially here. Also, yes, can we please just talk about how insanely attractive he is? Please?

Oh I am certain radiant is on the list. I have definitely described him that way before and I don't think I've ever seen anyone else, celeb or real life person, radiate in the way he does. I mean, that's the whole aura thing right? It's not just his *extreme* physical attractiveness, but this otherworldly energy that surrounds him and vibrates from him where there is no one else you want to look at, or interact with, or think about lol.

I'm in a mood, you all. I'm in a mood and I'm so busy and I don't have time to write all the poetry in the world that needs to be written about him right now, but God if I could lol

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Now we're in a whole other territory. We've got elegance, beauty, poise, a beautifully off-centre twist to the body which is bringing so much dynamism to the picture.

And then we have his face and eyes. See, I don't see vulnerability here. I see him about to break out into a smile or laugh. I see a slightly naughty look in his eye. Like he wants to do something to mess up the photo shoot. Nothing bad, just something to make the poor photographer have to do that shot again. He looks to me like he's listening to someone.

I do feel protective towards Michael. But not in this photo.

The hair is beautiful. The drape of the material behind him echoing the angle of his arms.

I'm pretty sure I've never seen this photo before. I love it.
