Quotes not in a different color/shade

Hi-up until today, when I quoted somebody in a response-or read a previous response anywhere, the original quote was always shaded. Today, everything is all clear-so you can't tell what is an original quote and what is the new response.
Is there something in settings I need to look at to change it back?

It's fine for me. make sure the quote is wrapped in the correct [ QUOTE ] [ / QUOTE ] tag. (no spaces}

You can also check settings> my account > general settings > Miscellaneous options and make sure you select Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing.

Ok Karom. Thanks. I'll ck it. It's working on my phone here. I'll ck my PC again tonight. I had to switch out monitors and it might be that too.

Hi Karom-I checked my settings and they're correct. But everything still has a white background. I think it might be the monitor-I had to borrow one for my PC because mine bit the dust overnight this week-it worked on the old monitor and not on this one (which is actually a little newer)-but I'll live with it til I get another monitor.
