I saw this young mother on the bus, every day on my way to work. She has the cutest little girl ever. I struck up a "bus-chat" relationship with her.
Months later, she comes into my workplace and she looks like something is terribly wrong.
"What's wrong, it's your daughter?", I asked.
"She says she was pregnant with a boy, and she had lost the baby, a few days ago, and that the baby will be taken out of her in a few days, because the baby was still inside her", she cried, with swollen eyes.
I could see this was not going to be heading in a direction where I could help her while I was at work.
She stood there as if her whole life was running out of her, infront of my eyes.
Then I was Michael-ed, and a thought popped into my head.
A few weeks ago, she had been into my work with her daughter and Mother. As she waited, her cell phone rang.
I heard "Thriller", and looked quickly to see if it was my cellphone that rang..Then I remembered I had "Human Nature" as my ringtone.
So I was looking frantically for the MJ Fan with the "Thriller" ringtone. When I found out it was her, we both laughed and talked about who LOVED MJ more...
So then I realized, what I could say to dry her tears that would never SEEM to end.
"You know there is NO reason to cry, for your baby that you lost."
She didn't see what I was getting at , yet!
"You do understand, you gave your baby to Michael!!"
It began to dawn on her face, where I was going.
"You do understand that ALL the Children, in Heaven, go to Him, right!"
The corners of her mouth began to rise.
"So what are you sad for, your baby boy is playing in heaven, with Michael!!"
Her tears began to roll, now and they were filled with Joy!!
She said "OMG that's true!!" OMG!!! "She said she felt SOOO MUCH better, knowing where her baby NOW was, in Michael's arms."
I gave her the BIGGIEST Michael HUG possible.
And as I hugged her I whispered in her ear, "You know your baby is in the greatest care, ever! And He just wanted you to know that, so you won't cry so much, not knowing it!!"
She left my work, so light and happy. Just by the knowing.
She came in a few days later, and brought Me a gift!
It was the beautifuliest Michael Jackson T-Shirt I ever saw, and now OWNED!!
She had bought it for Me.
WoW!!! WoW!!!! I totally Michael-ed her..
And I got the greatest gift of ALL!!
I LOVE BEING ALIVE TO LOVE...
