Robot technology is evolving fast. Boston Dynamics makes some awesome robots. Here are some videos:

Great to see how far technology has come. Those robots can keep their balance so well. It would be awesome if they could make realistic AI some day.

Because this is my professional field:

Actually, we have already got very powerful intelligent robots, but I don't think that we'll ever develop a human-like being. This is because we can't program emotions (unless you create a condition like, "If someone shouts at you, cry", but humans don't necessarily function like that). We haven't managed to copy amygdala (a part of brain responsible for emotions). But, who knows, maybe one day we'll working on artificial emotions...
