What are your favourite sad lyrics that you heard in MJs music?
Because as we know, sad songs say so much.

I'll start with these:

I have two lyrics that made me cry the first time I heard them. The first:

I can't believe Michael really wanted to release this song... It's not just sad. It's too rude too taboo even for Michael

that's great what a shame he didn't it would have been great in the Dangerous album. I don´t see what's sad about those lyrics, they're tragic but not sad.

of course it's sad! this song is about 12 years old kid, who has to work as a prostitute to make money for living! it makes me cry! it's too violent topic

That's all you catch? Her stepfather was molesting her for years, so she finally ran off. (and got ultimately arrested by the police, btw)

So, this song is about a 12 kid, who:

- Was raped by her father
- Worked as a sex worker on the streets to buy food
- Arrested by police and captured in a cage till the end of her days

If you think, that song is not sad/tragic/darkest in MJ discography, then something is really wrong with you
