She’s out of my life album version vs acoustic version

Ok so the album version is very dramatic and kind of depressing. It is like you’re standing in the cold rain all by yourself sobbing your eyes out
The guitar version gives me very different vibes, the content obviously is still the same but the guitar gives it a warm, soft, intimate sound. Something you listen to at a campfire perhaps, it makes the sadness that MJ intended less palpable probably.

So what do you prefer?

I found both versions pretty but hearing it live on the Dangerous Tour especially is simply outstanding .

album version definitely. the emotion is what makes a song like this. I find that lacking on the acoustic one to be honest. he doesn’t even cry (though he would never cry as much as ‘be not always’). the orchestra plays a necessary role in helping to tell the story also.
