Shout - tough, angry, embattled
2000 Watts - pounding dance track

both are absolute masterpieces and true #InvincibleBangerz.
2000 Watts is better, because the vocals are much clearer.
On Shout the vocals sound too muffled.

Shout should have been on Vince though. Replacing one of the useless balads (like The Lost Children, Dont Walk Away - those two are absolutely horrible)

Considering it’s still a draw I will give a vote. I opt for shout because of better energy, less meaningless lyrics and it simply being different to other MJ tracks

Or "Cry"

Shout is way better than the sum of its parts
3 songs that determined the existence of Shout by Michael Jackson. 2 of them had Teddy Riley as a producer, and 1 of them inspired the chorus.

Both tracks are trash, but Shout simply better due to stronger lyrics and more experimental MJ vocals

Shout, by quite a distance.

2000 Watts isn't his finest moment.

God forbid MJ throw the ladies a bone

The vocals and lyrical content on 2000 Watts never worked for me. I never really go back to it. The music itself has some nice moments but still not my thing.
I'll go with Shout, the lyrics are more meaningful and there's a dark vibe to it that I like. Also the guitar and MJ rapping is pretty cool.

2000 Watts for sure (compared to Shout).
But the only verse that I like in Shout is the part more melodic ("How can we preach"...)

The voice and a bit more melodic music of 2000 watts I like it more,
but Shout modulation of voice is better imo

2000 watts theme is powerful energic
but Shout I like the meaning more than 2000 watts that is only about the power and energy of music and dance

2000 Watts song is literally about... nothing.... It's about sex... It's empty, clumsy, weak experiment where Michael tries to look like 2000s teenager
