Shumley taped a seven hour MJ documentary.
It's about Michaels tragic story and that love is more important than attention.
He also talks about untrue allegations.

What about Taj’s documentary Righting HIStory?

I hope we'll get to hear more audio of his recorded conversations with Michael, but I'm not really interested in what Shmuley has to say beyond that, we've already heard his judgemental opinions.

As long as he defends Michael, he is welcome to speak out.

What did he say?

What did he say?
About Wade and James when LN came out: "I don't believe these men are lying, and I don't believe that the shame and guilt being experienced by their parents in general, maybe their mothers, in particular, is feigned," Boteach told Australian news show A Current Affair.

He was defending Wade and James in 2019.

I can't access the links at the moment due to restricted internet access (I'm in school lol), do we know when the documentary is due to come out? Also 7 hours?? Geez.... are we just gonna hear him blab on?

And he will jump on the other side again when it suits him.
This doesn't paint a good picture of Shmuley. One might think he's trying to capitalize on the biopic's hype.
I wonder what his God thinks about this...

He said he was interviewed for 7 hours, but I expect they will edit it down when they put the documentary together. Although I doubt not that he could talk for 7 hours straight after seeing his last interview with Piers Morgan where he just kept talking and talking, and Piers tried to stop him over and over again, but Shmuley just kept talking even faster and would not stop talking. lol

One might think he's trying to capitalize on the biopic's hype.
The upcoming biopic is most likely the reason why he's defending Michael again. When everybody thought Michael would be cancelled in 2019, he went with the crowd and switched to the other side. Now he realizes that Michael was not cancelled and he's becoming popular again, so...

Haven’t you all noticed all these hanger ons and those who claim to be Michael’s best friend are absolute morons? Shmuley, Geller etc. I cringe at them all

I just cringe at hearing any of these names from that 2001-2003 era. Schmuley, Geller, Bashir. They were a horrible mistake
Rabbi Shmuley Boteach was one of the few people around Michael Jackson who wanted to genuinely protect him.

That is why, he gave to Michael Jackson a very important piece of advice.

He specifically advised him that he should not be alone again with children.

Michael Jackson did not want to listen to him, and that was the reason for the end of their relationship:

"I had to be very critical of him ... He was secluded with children ... He promised me he never would [do that] again, but he broke that promise ... At the time our relationship ended, his life went downhill very rapidly" (Rabbi Shmuley Boteach)

So? Anyone could've told Michael that. He was barely around the Arvizo guy and that one landed him a criminal trial. Doesn't matter what Michael did, someone was going to go after him.

The man is a crook. Everything about that book he released was a horrible mistake. And he kept giving his unwarranted opinions as if he was his best friend forever and knew anything that was going down with Michael.

Everything went downhill in 2001 and 2002. When Michael was with this guy, Michael was going down the hill. 2003 was the bottom of the barrel

Certainly not the interviews with Michael and Katherine, which make up 90% of the book.
Shmuley's comments can be ignored; they are just a minor detail.

Back when Michael was alive, the story was that they had a falling out because Shmuley had allegedly stolen money from the Heal The Kids foundation. Funny how the story changes when Michael is no longer here to give his version and suddenly all the "friends" he had cut out of his life claim that they were the ones who cut ties.

This was a story which was never officially confirmed.

Dieter Wiesner (a close confidant of Michael Jackson during that period) was asked about it and he did not confirm this story, as well.

There were plenty of news articles about it back in the day, see the link I posted above. Shmuley's version of events on the other hand was never confirmed by anyone except Shmuley himself, and he only told that version after Michael was dead. It's laughable to think that someone who enjoys using his brief connection to MJ as much as Shmuley does would be the one to cut ties. I have no doubt if it had been up to him, Shmuley would have loved to remain in Michael's circle.
