Several months ago, attorney Tony Buzbee announced that a woman was accusing Jay-Z and Diddy of raping her at the 2000 VMAs after-party. She was only 13 at the time of the alleged incident.
According to her, a woman referred to as "Celebrity B" witnessed the entire incident and pervertedly enjoyed it. Buzbee seemed pretty gung-ho and cavalier about the whole thing like it was a known certainty. Of course, like everybody, I was shocked at the thought of something like that occurring, but unlike many, I did not automatically conclude it was true. My principle is to allow due process to take place and uphold presumption of innocence. Even in Diddy's case... (I'll admit it doesn't look too good for him as he's sitting in jail, awaiting trial due to other accusations. He physically assaulted Cassie, but he may be innocent of all the sexual misconduct (incl. pedocriminality) accusations.
Turned out that Jay-Z had a strong alibi—he never attended that after-party! The accuser—slanderer—withdrew her lawsuit months later.

What do y'all think?
Now these:
"In the lawsuit filed in Alabama — where the woman reportedly lives — and seen by US media, Jay-Z also said that both the woman and her lawyers, Buzbee and Fortney, were 'soullessly motivated by greed, in abject disregard of the truth and the most fundamental precepts of human decency'."
"The filing claimed that the woman 'voluntarily admitted' to Jay-Z’s representative that he 'did not assault her' and that Buzbee 'pushed her to go forward with the false narrative of the assault by Mr Carter in order to leverage a maximum payday'."

"'She’s approached by Carter’s intermediaries, outside the presence of counsel, not given time to think,' Moniz said. 'That is a blatant attempt to circumvent attorney-client privilege and cannot be allowed to stand.'"

Jay-Z is now rightfully suing that **** Tony Buzbee for defamation. Looks like Buzbee just takes any case of alleged sex abuse without doing any vetting for money.
Buzbee first tried to deny that woman's admission that it was all a lie.
He's now admitting that that admission took place but claims it was made under duress. Regardless, Jay-Z never attended that party, so it was all a lie and slander to tarnish his name, his reputation, destroy his career he worked hard to build, and leverage a maximum payday in the process.
Many people still believe it's true despite Jay-Z never having attended that party. Diddy did not attend either. Diddy may perhaps be guilty of other things, but he wasn't at that after-party. Buzbee was so stupid for thinking this case would stand a chance. This is why I just cannot automatically believe allegations like many do.
It's so tragic! So many people will now always see Jay-Z as a foul, vicious monster, rapist, and child rapist, just like many people will always see Michael Jackson as such (there are good rebuttals documentaries and websites for those who care about the truth).
