Several months ago, attorney Tony Buzbee announced that a woman was accusing Jay-Z and Diddy of raping her at the 2000 VMAs after-party. She was only 13 at the time of the alleged incident.

According to her, a woman referred to as "Celebrity B" witnessed the entire incident and pervertedly enjoyed it. Buzbee seemed pretty gung-ho and cavalier about the whole thing like it was a known certainty. Of course, like everybody, I was shocked at the thought of something like that occurring, but unlike many, I did not automatically conclude it was true. My principle is to allow due process to take place and uphold presumption of innocence. Even in Diddy's case... (I'll admit it doesn't look too good for him as he's sitting in jail, awaiting trial due to other accusations. He physically assaulted Cassie, but he may be innocent of all the sexual misconduct (incl. pedocriminality) accusations.

Turned out that Jay-Z had a strong alibi—he never attended that after-party! The accuser—slanderer—withdrew her lawsuit months later.

What do y'all think?

Now these:

"In the lawsuit filed in Alabama — where the woman reportedly lives — and seen by US media, Jay-Z also said that both the woman and her lawyers, Buzbee and Fortney, were 'soullessly motivated by greed, in abject disregard of the truth and the most fundamental precepts of human decency'."

"The filing claimed that the woman 'voluntarily admitted' to Jay-Z’s representative that he 'did not assault her' and that Buzbee 'pushed her to go forward with the false narrative of the assault by Mr Carter in order to leverage a maximum payday'."

"'She’s approached by Carter’s intermediaries, outside the presence of counsel, not given time to think,' Moniz said. 'That is a blatant attempt to circumvent attorney-client privilege and cannot be allowed to stand.'"

Jay-Z is now rightfully suing that **** Tony Buzbee for defamation. Looks like Buzbee just takes any case of alleged sex abuse without doing any vetting for money.

Buzbee first tried to deny that woman's admission that it was all a lie.
He's now admitting that that admission took place but claims it was made under duress. Regardless, Jay-Z never attended that party, so it was all a lie and slander to tarnish his name, his reputation, destroy his career he worked hard to build, and leverage a maximum payday in the process.

Many people still believe it's true despite Jay-Z never having attended that party. Diddy did not attend either. Diddy may perhaps be guilty of other things, but he wasn't at that after-party. Buzbee was so stupid for thinking this case would stand a chance. This is why I just cannot automatically believe allegations like many do.

It's so tragic! So many people will now always see Jay-Z as a foul, vicious monster, rapist, and child rapist, just like many people will always see Michael Jackson as such (there are good rebuttals documentaries and websites for those who care about the truth).

As for the rape accusations against Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys, there are so many it's getting hard to keep up.

December 2022 accusation by Shannon "Shay" Ruth
Backstreet Boy Nick Carter Sued for Alleged Rape of 17-Year-Old Girl On Tour Bus

From Wiki: "Following the release of the lawsuit, ABC, Hulu and Disney+ canceled A Very Backstreet Holiday, a television holiday special featuring the Backstreet Boys scheduled to air the following week on December 14, 2022; their $350,000 holiday promotion for MeUndies;[118][119] as well as endorsement deals including Tonies, The Children's Place,[120] Vrbo,[121] Expedia,[122] and Roblox; their Jingle Ball performance on The CW; appearances on GMA, the Kelly Clarkson Show, La semaine des 4 Julie and the album signing at the Edge NYC were canceled, which led to fans boycotting ABC and the Kelly Clarkson Show for what they called 'cancel culture'."

"A trial date has been set for Carter's countersuit against Schuman in December, while Repp and Ruth's cases will be heard together in Nevada in March 2026.[151][152]"

"Liane Wakayama, Carter's attorney in the Ruth case, responded to the ruling in a statement to EW. 'Nearly two years after making her outrageous claims at a press conference, Shannon Ruth has still not provided any evidence that she has ever even met Nick Carter,' Wakayama said. 'That’s not surprising, because the timeline provided by numerous witnesses show her story to be physically impossible. We have the strongest confidence in our case.'"

April 2025 accusation by Laura Penly
"In a statement shared with Variety, Liane K. Wakayama and Dale Hayes, Jr., attorneys for Carter, said the lawsuit is 'just more of the same nonsense from the gang of conspirators and their lawyers who continue to abuse the justice system to try to ruin Nick Carter.'

'It’s drawn from the same predictable playbook – lie in wait for decades until Mr. Carter is celebrating a professional milestone, then hide behind litigation privilege to make utterly false claims in an attempt to inflict maximum damage on Nick and his family.'

They continue, 'Nick does not recall ever even meeting Laura Penly. He certainly never had any romantic or sexual relationship with her. Ever. The person making these claims has a documented history of financial and legal trouble, has filed for bankruptcy and has been sued for fraud – and whatever health challenges she may have faced have absolutely nothing to do with Nick. Not only will we fight this, we will be seeking sanctions against her legal team for enabling this frivolous action.'"

But then again, it doesn't mean those allegations are true—as bad as it looks. Keep in mind Michael Jackson has himself been accused many more times....
