Anyone here have any positive or constructive critiques of MJ's choice of songs/styles/partners?

I was just listening to the "Bad" album at work and 'I Just Can't Stop Loving You' played. I remember how it was said it was originally supposed to be a duet with Whitney.

Regardless of why/how that didn't happen, I think Siedah was a much better vocalist for this song. I love Whitney to death, but she has a tendency to try to outsing her partners and her voice isn't soft enough for the song. Siedah's softer vocals were a better match for the song, I think.

I think the original song is good and their voices sound well and smooth together. But in the Dangerous tour performance Siedah and her voice is more than nerve-racking IMO especially at the Bucharest concert. She outsang Michael and that's why I don't like the end of the performance.
