I always wondered, is there a background story about that 'intro'?

Michael always had a frame around him during vocal takes, so the voice on takes are dry and have no echo or background noises. When they started the take of ‘Dangerous’ that frame fell on michael (you can here him as well). The funny part is that it was so on sync they thought it was part of the song he just ‘created’ while standing there, and they let the take go on. After they found out he wasn’t singing they saw him laying on the ground. They continued the song later and he had to go to the hospital for a check up. I believe he had a concussion from it..

A motor starts, a horn blows, thud sound like someone getting hit by a car, horn honking, ambulance sirens

And they recorded it themselves live with a car in the studio..!
