So far all reviews even the ones posted here are Very favorable. :)
I can wait to see it _ Im so proud to have this documentary out for Michael. He derserves all the recognition and praise for his dedication to his Craft. He was so talented and such a wonderful person _ A genious and this Doc will show the world how incredible he was - Im soo happy and excited. There is nothing negative or wrong with this Documentary. Its exactly how it is suppose to be. Spike is a genious and great film maker in his own right.

Im looking forward to our own members relaying thier experience tomorrow Sun Sept 2nd

I hope the extra stuff will be full of Michael. :D It will be nice to watch it unedited because I'm sure it will be edited on TV. I guess I can't get it in time for Christmas though :sigh:

Though the ABC airing will surely secure it a dream audience -- funny to think that's it on course to become the most widely viewed film of Lee's career -- it'd be a bit of a shame for it not to receive the same cinematic treatment as Kenny Ortega's more rushed, less insightful box office hit "This It It" in 2009. Meanwhile, the TV appearance takes the film right out of the Oscar picture -- not that the Academy ever takes even the best of examples of such pop-oriented documentaries seriously.

I dont know how this is it is considered" less insightful" i thought it was well (sorry if this sounds a lil offenseive) great cuz the way it showed how the show was going. As much as it does hurt watching it sometimes knowing that was the last rehearsals michael ever did but it was informative to me as it showed how a concert like that is born

I'm sure Europe will have their channels. I think Germany has it on VOX at some point, and UK soon.

Fantastic! They probably had to push it back in agreement with the ABC deal because there's no way ABC would pay alot of money to air something that would be commercially available in a really short time. Also they dont want to saturate the market at the same time as Bad25. Fans are already spending alot of money on the releases so it's good to distribute their product.

I saw it!!! It was just amazing!*
I'm sure non fans who will see it on ABC will buy the album and the dvd concert afterwards!!

Spike Lee did a good job! This doc is a good tribute to the bad album! The doc talks about the making of all the songs and videos of this album with cute and funny stories about Michael. *I loved the exclusive footage but it wasn't enough for me as a fan... I wanted more lol but it was good, *Michael is always cute...!!

Tatiana said a cute story about the last scene on the SHORT FILM the way you make me feel but I'm not gonna say more!*

You'll like it!

Tonight was my best experience since Michael's death. We laughed, we cried and sang together! Spike Lee made a little speech! That was really good!

Thanks for the little review :D. As a rough estimate, what percentage of the film would you say was footage of MJ as opposed to interviews with various folk?

John Branca -- the doc's executive producer and longtime producer for Jackson, now in charge of his estate -- described "Bad" as a very special album for the late pop star. "It was the first album which he co-produced with Quincy Jones in its entirety, and he wrote nine of the 11 songs." Branca said the film will be shown to Jackson's kids Blanket, Paris and Prince. "Bad 25" draws on a treasure trove of materials from the Jackson estate including home videos shot by Jackson himself or by his closest collaborators during rehearsals. It includes conversations with Martin Scorsese, who filmed one of the music videos for "Bad," which will air in a tailored-for-TV version on ABC in November. Branca said a theatrical release and director's cut for homevideo are also planned, but did not disclose further distribution details.
