T25 'Bad Tour' Poster Not By SonyBMG

In response to many inquiries we’ve received through MJJSHOP.COM from fans around the world: According to the SonyBMG headquarter, the ‘MJ T25 ‘Bad Tour’ Poster’ has not been commissioned and/or produced by SonyBMG.

I was wondering how Sony would produce such a Poster...I mean it looks great, but a Thriller Poster with a Bad Tour Pic:lol:
 
Yea looks a little wierd with a bad tour picture on that, but i got it on my wall now and it looks cool anyway.
Maybe sony will release one too?
 
Well...
- MJJ Magazine is NOT an official Michael Jackson website and is NOT an official Michael Jackson shop / e-shop.
- Of Course, the Poster is NOT produced by Sony BMG, but by Pyramid Posters Ltd.
It was never presented as a Sony BMG item.

Why is it produced by Pyramid ? Simply because Sony BMG didn't have the rights to produce this item and Pyramid has a licence agreement with Michael Jackson (also, please note that ALL Sony BMG posters / displays use back catalog pictures of MJ (like the MJ w/ tiger and the zombie pix, they can hardly clear other pix for such items - I don't mention the T25 superb booklet, this is another matter).

This Poster is Official. For those of you who were here in the 80's and the 90's, do you remember the products by Triumph International ? They were not produced by Sony Music, simply because they were produced by Triumph International upon Michael Jackson's request. This is just the very same thing today, except that Pyramid Posters is in charge.

Also, note that record companies' main goal [especially today] is not to produce goodies etc... They often work with other companies to do that job.

Last but not least: the choice of this WBSS live picture is from Michael Jackson himself: he is just proud of the BAD Tour and wanted to celebrate THRILLER 25 and ALSO his career by using this picture.
WBSS live T25 Poster is the first of other posters/items to come.

I never tought it was a bootleg...just that it isn't a official promotion poster by Sony.

And as i said the Poster itself looks great!:cool:

launched = acknowledged as an item that is part of the T25 campaign.
Pyramid DID produce the item.

Anyway, I don't understand the confusion about this item, you have ebay, hmv and play that list it a san official item.
It speaks for itself, and let's hope the fans will enjoy this poster (and the next items to come ;) )

But, you know, there are always people who want to find problems where there aren't any.

btw: check http://www.pyramidposters.com/. They have of course listed both MJ posters there.
