  • Black or White + Remember The Time + In The Closet

  • Earth Song + You Are Not Alone + They Don't Care About Us

  • You Rock My World + Butterflies + Break of Dawn

I’ve picked the three best songs (at least in my opinion, and likely for many others) from each album. I intentionally left out Thriller and Bad because the choices there would have been too obvious

And that’s totally fine, everyone has their own personal tastes and preferences. But I personally love making these kinds of top lists to compare tracks and pick the best ones. Honestly, picking the top 3 songs from Dangerous was the hardest part for me. Black or White and Remember the Time are definitely at the very top. But choosing just one more to round out the top three was incredibly tough. To me, In the Closet, Heal the World, and Will You Be There are all pretty much on the same level. In the end, I went with In the Closet because it charted a bit higher

Same also had a really hard time with Dangerous when i made a list myself. But also ended with the same songs as you chose, and overall i think you dod pretty well on picking the “most popular” wordwide or in general! And lets be FR: all MJs songs are 🔥fire🔥 and it is basically impossible to rank them all from worst to best😅
 
In terms of quality in these choices Earth Song + TDCAU is a clear winner but YANA ruins it badly.
 
You should've just asked us what our top 3 favorite songs from each album are, or what are our top 3 favorite MJ songs are in general.

I agree "Don't Stop", "Rock with You", and "Off the Wall" are the three best songs on Off the Wall. But it feels like you're conflating "best" with "most popular".

In that case, "Scream" is definitely more popular than "Earth Song". MJ dueting with Janet was a huge deal back then, and it was the first song to debut as high as no.5 on the Hot 100. I know "Earth Song" was big in Europe, but if I'm not mistaken, "Scream" was the more successful song worldwide.
 
I had to vote OTW, because I didn't agree with any of your other song choices.

Lots of songs better than Remember The Time, In The Closet and You Are Not Alone. If you had Scream, Jam, Will You Be There, Give In To Me, that would have made me vote for something else.

Also, why was Michael cancelled?

"Got to Be There", "Rockin' Robin", "Ain't No Sunshine"

"Ben", "My Girl", "We've Got a Good Thing Going"

"Happy", "Morning Glow", "Music and Me"

"We're Almost There", "Just a Little Bit of You", "One Day in Your Life"

All probably better than those choices.

I can start another thread where we pick the top three songs from Dangerous and HIStory. I just didn’t think it was necessary at first. But seeing as many people are unhappy with my picks, it looks like I might have miscalculated a bit:unsure:
It’s funny how everyone pretty much agrees on the top three for Off The Wall and Invincible. But I get it - with Dangerous, for example, it’s a lot more complicated. I'll go ahead and set up another thread for it

Thats a good idea! Its gonna be hard ti pick for Dangerous and HIStory but lets see🙂
