Partial lists:So....... Do we have an official list of the songs that were considered for Michael & Xscape?
Don't forget She Was Lovin' Me. And I think Slave to Rhythm? Plus they still wanted Will.i.Am and RedOne's songs.Partial lists:
“Love Never Felt So Good,” “Do You Know Where Your Children Are,” “Throwin’ Your Life Away,” “Lovely Way,” and at least three other Cascio tracks were up for Michael.
“Get Your Weight Off of Me,” “Hot Fun in the Summertime,” “If You Don’t Love Me,” and “I Was the Loser” were up for XSCAPE.
Completely blanked on those — thank you!Don't forget She Was Lovin' Me. And I think Slave to Rhythm? Plus they still wanted Will.i.Am and RedOne's songs.
Chicago 1945 was also wanted for Xscape.
Completely blanked on those — thank you!
Apparently Steve changed up his story and said that it was “Dream Away” was the song they wanted for XSCAPE. At least he did during the Paris seminar. Weird that Steve has suddenly been switching up the narrative.
Funny that every story has two different narratives. Like, is the Paul Anka stuff from 1983 or 1980?Completely blanked on those — thank you!

I think the people who reported this one are confused. The estate asked to remix Chicago 1945. Dream Away wasn't even in the conversation during Xscape.I mean, I think they probably wanted both of them. He most likely said it about Dream Away because it was a song he'd just revealed?
Am I right in assuming will & red1 have 2 completed songs each, ready to go?Don't forget She Was Lovin' Me. And I think Slave to Rhythm? Plus they still wanted Will.i.Am and RedOne's songs.

Yeah, but apart from Will, who didn't give the estate the instrumentals and then wanted the songs for his album, RedOne is pretty consistent in releasing the songs for charity, stuff that will be blocked by the marvelous estate.Am I right in assuming will & red1 have 2 completed songs each, ready to go?
Last time he spoke, RedOne said only 1 was really usable. Again, the narrative has changed.Am I right in assuming will & red1 have 2 completed songs each, ready to go?

The 1998 What You Do To Me filing is an early demo of The Way You Love Me. The version I heard had primitive production and only had scratch vocals on the chorus (no verse vocal). However, a lyric sheet for the complete song was also enclosed. MJ is scatting/yodelling at the end.
