The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

Hot take here, but part of me wishes MJ had finished ES for Dangerous (replacing heal the world) and added the grit vocals at the end and blended with the falsetto voice. He woulda been nearly five years younger so I imagine the grit vocals would have been a lot stronger in 91 than they were in 95. It would have also been a good way to keep the album's sound strong as I always felt HTW slowed it down a little too much. Idk maybe I'm in the minority here.

I also always felt that SPYHO should have replaced HTW and that it should have been a charity single that he performed on tour. But this rant may just be me not being that much of a HTW fan in general lmao
IMO SYPYO should have replaced Gone Too Soon, and that song should have been a charity single and perhaps a bonus track of some kind.

Someone Put Your Hand Out and For All Time are both amazing, beautiful songs. Both of them should have been on the album. SPYHO replacing Keep The Faith, and For All Time replacing Gone Too Soon.

^^ TDCAU could have easily replaced Jam or wywtom. sdmw & clhga should have been replaced, too

This is what I’ve heard as well- it’s mostly instrumental with spoken sections.
If the instrumentals are really as fire as they say, I firmly believe that tracks like "Homeless Bound" and "Faces" can be used as they are within posthumous albums. At most they can be cut down to make them "interludes".

Even though they have no vocals, I think there is a certain artistic aspect in these tracks that deserves to be heard.

They've also given the lyrics of Homeless Bound:
"I beg for change, I will not steal or sell drugs. /See I got nothing, See I got no money, I got nothing, I got no job, I’m on the street."
I agree, it’s a really cool beat. When I first heard it at Brad’s seminars in 2019, I remember loving the percussion sound that sounds like a typewriter or a construction tool. That sound is still stuck in my head haha! I also remember there were def homeless people talking.

Pinch of salt for me with this one.

A random person saying it on twitter isn't really much to go on.

It's interesting to have more knowledge on some of these songs, hopefully we hear them one day.

A Pretty Face Is, has always intrigued me as a song title. Am I getting confused here or wasn't that supposedly an unreleased duet with Stevie Wonder?

Yup, Stevie mentioned it in a magazine interview around the time “Get It” came out. If I’m not mistaken, it was written in the mid ‘70s. He and MJ were discussing recording it by the late 1980s but no other news ever came out.

OMG - it would be awesome if Bill would share his notes on Victory sessions

It was either mixing the OG State of Shock during Victory session
Or
A session with all the brothers and MJ at CanAm - the fam here helped me think it was Buffalo Bill

Both of these I remember as my earliest MJ session.
I could check my journals

MJ should have replaced the Dangerous album with "Dangerous" Deluxe Edition, featuring a collection of songs guaranteed to surpass Thriller.

MJ should have replaced the Dangerous album with all the Bryan Loren tracks and call it "Garbage", like the track "Garbage".

Michael thought The Toy was better than songs on Thriller. No joke.

Anyway, I'd love to hear Loren tracks in full HQ. I can see why he was ultimately left off Dangerous but She Got It would've worked and could've replaced Can't Let Her Get Away
She Got It is very groovy
