The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

Haven't heard it, seems unlikely though
Small (unrelated) question, where did all these songs come from? I've been hearing rumors about them coming from recorded Discord calls (meaning they aren't at their full lengths) and that's what I've been going off of for a good while, but lately I haven't been so sure.

Most of these leaks have been coming from the 2013 Sony leak. I might be partially wrong.

Are we even sure that Bruce produced TMO? We could get to the bottom of things if we find out who the producers are for both TMO and GOAL. IIRC, Thome Thome (I think his name is) is the producer of ghost, right?
If I’m recalling correctly, Bruce was the one who first mentioned “Turning Me Off,” or at least acknowledged it at some point. I could be wrong.

Thom Russo was an engineer for Dangerous (he also engineered “Slave to the Rhythm”). I recall the rumor being that he played “Ghost of Another Lover” during a fan convention and/or seminar, which is where the leaked recording was sourced from.

That's this guy

I think you mean Thom Russo; he's Teddy Riley's engineer.

Sorry, I should have just written Time Marches On instead of TMO, which was the song I was referring to haha. Where did the rumor that Bruce produced Time Marches On originate from?

That’s interesting. I personally think Jam and Time Marches On have no relation to one another but we need more proof.

So sorry—I meant “Time Marches On!” I think the acronym got me confused when I was typing lol but I meant “Time Marches On.”

Honestly, I don’t know. It seems like one of those “facts” that have been around for years so we kinda just accepted it. I definitely think it sounds nothing like “Jam.” I’d love for René Moore to comment on it.
