I really hope that there’s another, more fleshed out, version of this song with all the lyrics he wrote for it, that isn’t present on this version. This is truly my favorite leak out of all. RWITY is a close second lo

Yeah him - I haven't seen word or mention of him in a long time. I think he leaked some songs and Auckland '96 maybe? It was so long ago now. Didn't Sony come after him and run him over in a car?*




*May not have actually happened, but I do recall photos of him absolutely MANGLED on a hospital bed around that time. (this is o/t, sorry mods)

Yes, him. Steve(+3 digits on his usernick). He did leak some jumbotron feeds of HWT & iirc few original tracks that didn't made the 2010 album.

I've never noticed him being that egoistic. Lucky me, I guess.😂

I don't mean to derail the thread but he was an ego-maniac the way he posted. Anyways, I was only wondering what happened to him because of how much he shared.

Also, I'm aware he shared way more, I just can't remember. The leak is more important than the leaker!

We wouldn't have gotten Buenos Aires if it wasn't for him. He basically pushed the carrot-danglers to just post it.
 
Does anyone know if any unreleased concerts are mixed among this ridiculous amount of unreleased song leaks?

Are the 2 recent Jacksons soundboard leaks connected to what's going on now?

Oh yeah, Steve001 is his username IIRC. I remember things starting to sour when he promised to release a new concert (I think it was Sydney 87) but didn't follow through. I also remember that some users believed that he faked his accident to renege on his promise to share the concert. I think HTW Sydney 96 was also something he said that he would share, or at the very least was something that he had in his possession.
 
RWITY - in the beginning when he says do do do do do dooo - it somehow reminds me a bit to Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On. 🤣

I really like most of the new leaks. - But RWITY is so stunningly beautiful. Sad, sweat and melancolic in som way too.

I really really hope he recorded more vocals for that song. It's so great.

I’m deluding myself into believing there is a full version, or at least a version that’s further along until I’m proved wrong lol.

I mean, the lyrics really suggest he wrote a full song.

I'd like to believe that a more advanced version exists somewhere.
 
Brad Sundberg kinda said it best: Michael procrastinated on his vocals until he was really ready to sing them all out and commit to them. There were a lot of ideas created, written, and worked on, but it wasn't until the end of the project that Michael recorded his final vocals. Seth Riggs would do a 2-3 hour warm-up, and Michael would sing dozens and dozens of takes. It would be a dark studio, and it would be a private affair with little to no outside people there.

Which is why tracks like Hollywood have just unfinished vocals from 1999, but he obviously wrote the bridge and third verse, just never laid vocals down.

If we are to go by DIG, it's the same situation. I think he would rather get the music and melody down before he was willing to complete a vocal.

For innocent man, it sounds musically complete, but Michael also moved on to different ideas and never returned to them. He may have got a feel for the song but moved onto a different track like DS or Scream.

Yeah, final vocals sure, but I think we have ample evidence that MJ also used to put down damn good vocal takes on ideas even if the ideas weren’t fully
Fleshed out. It think it depends on the song and what era is was created, and how much he [intitally] liked it.
