The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

No. They sound sonically similar, but not similar in completion. I think What You Do To Me is slightly more complete than Free
I meant vocally, not overall. I think a song being vocally complete/near complete Make Or Breaks it for release (see what I did there hehe)

Currently it's the only way to get authentic, unaltered songs.
Yea, even most leaks aren't lossless or are edited. We're lucky we got the full transfer of TYLA in lossless, thats a huge treat that seems to be forgotten

Unfortunately it's b.s. quality; filtered to death. Would love to see that song on a future release.

Out of all 8 posthumously released Bad era tracks imo I'm so blue is the most polished one. Mind-boggling how Sony didn't care to release that one as a single.

TYLA isn't? its just a bad transfer lol, not filtered at all. SW '87 WIP is filtered af

You know what I would love? To know the track names of the Malouf tracks. Apparently there are 11 that are "fully fleshed-out masters" that were recorded at multiple studios, so I'm guessing that either all of those 11 or at least 1 are at the same level of completion as Abortion Papers

Disagree, imo PoF, Loving You and maybe even DYKWYCA are more polished than that one, great hidden gem tho.

Just relistened to the bad 25 bonus tracks again, 6/6 straight up bangers (yes, even Don’t Be Messin’ ‘Round)

Thriller 40 was in some ways, better than Thriller 25
Thriller 25 was like a really ornate well presented hamburger in a restaurant owned by a slightly off his game master chef. That ultimately leaves you a little hungry, doesn't even throw in fries, and has some unruly people sitting near you (Fergie, Kanye, and yes, even Will). That charges you about 20 dollars still.

While Thriller 40 is a bag of several fast food hamburgers (Not McDonald's) and fries that the doordash guy let slide in his car a bit but the bag is still sealed and it's hot cause he sped. For the exact same price, way better value when it comes to getting full. Not quite as nice packaging, you ate some of their stuff last week, and they did add something you didn't order (Can't Get Outta the Rain). But value.
