Always found those You Were There lyrics super interesting and wondered if he recorded any of them.
well apparently he did, and the full studio version was apparently gifted to Davis. Since the performance was sung live, the vocals must be different. Not sure about production though. Idk why but this feels like something that Korgnex would've leaked in like 2016

I was talking about the lyrics found in MJ's house.
 
There are apparently two You Were There songs lol. the Sammy Davis one, and one from the late 2000s. Im talking about the Davis one. There is a full studio version that was recorded
Source? Buz Kohan himself said the Sammy Davis tribute was never recorded in a studio and was haphazardly written the night before it was performed.

I believe it was @Korgnex or someone like that. Otherwise I have no idea who started the rumor.

EDIT: yeah it's decidedly false, just double checked the "Making Michael" book
