The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

a lot of demos are preferred to sound bad or the artist may think it sounds good enough to stand without them. look at the demos rene made for janet lol of course there are many exceptions though when the producer is an actual singer, which is why the dont walk away demo sounds so amazing
this is an amazing cope, i get what youre saying and youre not wrong but thats definitely not the case here LMAOOO song is just buns bro

I see "Kentucky" also. Goddammit man, every time we get more of those cut scenes it just hurts. The movie we got was entertaining enough but it was supposed to be so much more

And also the fact that they went on to include at least 4 real outtakes with 3 of them being quite obscure just leads me to believe that the songs shown on the teaser ("Paradise" and "Midas") weren't fictional titles.
I see also
"Sold My Soul"
"Paperthin"
"Juliet's Dagger"
"Wanna Be Startin Something"

Really wish this scene had made it in, seeing those obscure ass titles would've straight up felt like a 4th wall break lol

I wonder if they didn't consider releasing those songs, Prince said they were looking into releasing new music along with the biopic but nothing came of that. My theory is that the Estate really was intent in releasing something but the reshoots affected their plans, they were already sinking in the costs of the reshoots (it was over $55M, right?) so they didn't want to invest in other projects in order to reduce costs.

It wouldn't surprise me if the estate released an unreleased song, in the coming months, to accompany the biopic. But just one song. A song with a modern sound, so it works well on social media... Maybe a Redone/william track.

I was really disappointed they didn't use Dream Away in the credits, it felt like the perfect platform to use it, with them highlighting Michael's loneliness and his love for Neverland
Maybe they're saving it for part 2?
Can we honestly still expect anything anymore? Seems like the estate treats MJ more like a legacy-artist, with ocasional reminders that he put out OTW-Bad.

Lol what if it's a demo from the brothers? The clip seems to be from a deleted Triumph album scene

Funny, we know Michael wrote songs like Why Can't I Be, Slipped Away and This Is It and That Girl for Triumph but I wonder if his brothers submitted material as well
I always wish we had more info from MJ as to how he chose what to use for The Jacksons albums and then what to keep for himself.

For example, This Place Hotel sounds like a MJ solo track. Why did he not save it for Thriller?
