The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

It's pretty accurate! Do you have a source for this? Do you have more details?
Yes! this song was registered with the US Copyright Office, recording date is 30/03/2001. Written by MJ and Rodney Jerkins.

No source, made up lol. There is a composition called "the girl that got away" that was copyrighted. But it is most likely the girl sample in "Xscape".
That can't be true, the girl sample in Xscape had to be from 1999. The recording date for "The girl that got away" is 2001.

Someone should ask Damien if he's heard this and if he has additional info! "Unbreakable" and "Threatened" were worked on around the same time as this song

I was wondering recently, MJ spent 2.5 years working with Rodney Jerkins! Do you guys still believe there's only 12-20 demos they produced together?

I mean, the Xscape original version was completed after the release of Invincible, in 2002.

So they started working in 1999 and ended in 2002...

I feel there must be more outtakes from the invincible album itself!

Also in the ending of a live video
The partner was leaving the video live because of his baby, so Rodney sarcastically said there are 30 demos! You can't leave the live now! ...

Wasn't Turning Me Off considered for Xscape since the tape was seen on the Making of Xscape documentary? Hopefully there's a chance that we still get to hear it someday.

And also Buffalo Bill (I know that it isn't a Bad outtake technically but still) is my most wanted Bad song lol.
Bad era outtakes>>>>>> all other era outtakes
Invincible and Post Invincible are strong contenders tbh.

Really? I might have to rewatch it.

Mine is still Throwing Your Life Away. It's so damn groovy.

Not gonna lie, I'm really curious about Turning Me Off now too. Bad outtakes are all bangers.
it was revealed recently to be Turnin' Me Off lmao, I wanna hear Be Me 4 a Day, Changes, Crack Kills, Make or Break, TYLA, and Get In To The Groove

It kinda is as it was a song considered for the album

Oh yeah, I keep forgetting about GITTG. I wonder if it was a scratch demo or one with full vocals.

And on the subject of the Victory and pre-Bad sessions, Michael seems to have made enough to justify a full album without Quincy. Just look at the huge amount of songs recorded between 1983-1986:

You could make an entire album just out of the vocally complete demos and get away with calling it "finished." And that's not even including the tenative demos for Liberian Girl, Dirty Diana, Smooth Criminal, and Leave Me Alone.

He never recorded with Frank Sinatra. Where are you getting that info from? He did visit Sinatra when he was recording LA is My Lady produced by Quincy Jones. But that was it.
