There is a 1080p version that I believe was broadcast on a foreign TV station around the time of MJ’s death.Question, whats the best/highest quality we have of the full Ghosts film
Japanese WOWOW channel? I think I've seen some folk saying it's not really that great. There is a 1080p version that I believe was broadcast on a foreign TV station around the time of MJ’s death.
link lolJapanese WOWOW channel? I think I've seen some folk saying it's not really that great.
I don't have it.link lol
Admittedly I haven’t seen it in years, but my recollection is that it’s a great watch. Then again, that might’ve been the 2009-10, pre-4K and OLED perspective.Japanese WOWOW channel? I think I've seen some folk saying it's not really that great.
Wasn't it released in 1080p on YouTube a de years ago, limited time only?Question, whats the best/highest quality we have of the full Ghosts film
Can’t confirm, but very exciting if true.
But seriously, how would you guys react if Malachi were featured in the biopic film as a Mike soundalike?Malachi is anxiously awaiting a phonecall
Not good, it would be disrespectful after all those years we complained about “Michael”.But seriously, how would you guys react if Malachi were featured in the biopic film as a Mike soundalike?
What the heck are you even talking about? But seriously, how would you guys react if Malachi were featured in the biopic film as a Mike soundalike?
I'd boycott the biopic. But seriously, how would you guys react if Malachi were featured in the biopic film as a Mike soundalike?
It’s not hard to understand what I said, bruv. A Michael Jackson soundalike, such as Jason Malachi, being used for singing parts of the film (kinda like how Marc Matel did in the Queen biopic), is not out of the realm of possibilityWhat the heck are you even talking about?
I think it absolutely is. Setting aside the MICHAEL controversy, there’s no reason to not use source recordings of MJ’s actual voice. Worst case scenario, just use an alternate take to add a little bit of differentiation. It’s not hard to understand what I said, bruv. Stevie's take was originally meant for Songs in the Key of Life, so 1976. I believe he showed the song to MJ in 1978/79.When was I Cant Help It introduced and recorded?
Yeah, a big chunk of it is Marc. However, they used his voice mostly for singing in casual situations e.g. at his birthday, singing Happy Birthday, or when introducing himself and singing for Brian and Roger for the first time.I'm pretty sure most of the vocals in Bohemian Rhapsody weren't Freddie. So I would expect the same for this film.
Yessir, most of it from previously released material as well (Rainbow 74, Hammersmith 75 etc).Every actual on-stage performance in the film is actually Freddie singing. From Keep Yourself Alive until Live Aid.
Yup. What I find interesting is that when they were filming the Live Aid scenes for example, they actually did use a recording of Marc Martel, which could be seen on some of the amateur footage which leaked in 2017 of them filming that scene, to which Rami Malek lip-synched.Yessir, most of it from previously released material as well (Rainbow 74, Hammersmith 75 etc).
Well we don’t have much previously released concert material so I hope they either re do the mixes (not likely) or release new concert songs like July 15th (not likely either)Yessir, most of it from previously released material as well (Rainbow 74, Hammersmith 75 etc).
You know he's talking about Freddie Mercury here rightWell we don’t have much previously released concert material so I hope they either re do the mixes (not likely) or release new concert songs like July 15th (not likely either)
