The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

UNKNOWN NEFF-U TRACK - "To have and to hold/ To love and to let go..." This is one of the more beautiful tracks Michael's made in his later years. Again, I've only heard about 25 seconds of this track, but it nearly brought a tear to my eye when I heard it. I don't know the title of this song, but according to my contact it was recorded in late 2008 with Neff-U. It's built on a piano and strings (similar to All I Need) with drums, bass and guitar coming in later. It sounds like an anti-war track, with Michael singing about parents having to let their children go off to war; I don't know if this is the base of the entire track though. It's mostly in falsetto.

This is the spoken word piece

The thing which really boils my blood about some fans is the way they create fake unreleased songs and put it all over YouTube. I'm sure I've missed some leaks because I don't want to put my poor ears through the trauma of listening to that tripe. There's too much of it. I want them to stop.

Guys, this has had me confused because of a lot of comments I saw in this forum, but I want to ask ¿Cheater 2001 snippet is real?

I saw this cheater 2001 snippet a few weeks ago. It’s from 2013 and is longer than the previous snippet that came from the seminar. It appears to feature the rumoured “fats” verse.

Sounds fantastic! Definitely would've been a "Resurrection" album highlight

Cheater 2001 ft Fats does not exist, a fan made it up. There is no copyright entry for it and Rodney Jerkins did not recall working on the song.

Question, was Michael gonna most of the T.I.I tour with live vocals and some playback? Or all playback?

I'm sure it's the reconstruction we already know, but with potato quality

But I don't know what year the reconstruction was created

T.I.I rehearsals pretty much tell you what was going to be live and what was going to be lip-synced.
So what songs would be live in your opinion? Probably the same ones he did on previous tours like WBSS, Human Nature, IJCSLY and the medley

Pretty boring selection if this is the case

No, that's just ballads and HIStory tour. It wasn't going to be like that again.

Pretty sure it was going to be like that. I can’t see Michael suddenly singing things like Billie Jean and Beat It live, after having lip-synched them on the HIStory Tour.

They're his biggest hits, he'd have to sing them. He sang it live every other concert anyway. All he had to do was change the tempo and the pitch.

I don’t know man. It seems like a natural progression for him to stick to the lip-synching. Both songs were lip-synched at the 30th Anniversary shows, for example.

Songs that were lip-synched once, were always lip-synched after that first time e.g. Thriller was sung live on the Bad Tour and lip-synched every single time after the Munich concert on the Dangerous Tour. Another example is Smooth Criminal, or The Way You Make Me Feel, after the European leg of the Bad Tour. That’s kinda how Michael functioned.
