The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

And as i've stated a multitude of a times, Bad 40 is almost certainly going to happen. The fact that Thriller 40 exists tells me that.
Feels very redundant imo since they already did a Bad anniversary project which was chocked full of unreleased songs.

I wish that his unreleased tracks were in Spotify, itsso annoying having to open up YouTube and not being able to turn of the screen to listen. If you guys know of any streaming sites that will help with this problem, could you please help?

You can use local files on Spotify. That's how I listen to his unreleased music.

Rest in peace to one of the greats, D’angelo.

Reading that article about them re releasing OTW with lots of bonus material and stuff is interesting. I wonder what happens to all these interesting things they talk about doing. Lol.

Chalk will do I guess.

Quick question but has anyone tried asking Damien what eras Be Me 4 A Day, Sister Sue, etc belong to?
i haven't seen any substantial evidence suggesting to me that Be Me is a real track. I'm aware of the BMI registration but i need more than that tbh. The eras for both are unknown.

You do know that the Estate didn‘t want to do Thriller 40, right?

I think they did and they didn't. I think it was to test whether or not a physical MJ release would sell well.

The only other legacy releases in the past few years were the expanded versions of The Jacksons albums but they were just digital. (not including Mofi stuff)

...you need more than a copyright registration that documents the existence of the song to believe that it's a real song?
Literally yes and this is NOT a copyright registration we're talking about. BMI/ASCAP registrations lack important context behind songs. Just because he is listed as a writer or even a performer does not mean it is a Michael Jackson song. Literally anyone could sample one of his songs and he'd be listed as a performer or even just totally make stuff up like Eddie Cascio and James Porte, all of their songs are registered on BMI lmfao. I'm not saying the song doesn't exist I'm just saying I have yet to see any actual concrete evidence that song exists and if there is any out there it wouldn't be a BMI registration.
