I'm surprised to see Little Susie lumped in with these - I'd consider Little Susie to be one of his strongest dark songs.Something I've found interesting is that, out of the songs Michael wrote, those in either 3/4 time or with a "Waltz" feel seem to be some of the most derided.
Little Susie, The Lost Children and now World of Candy seem to be named as very weak songs, though perhaps it's more to do with subject matter. Neverland Landing sounds as though it has the same feel so it'll be interesting to see how people react to it also
