I love the vibe of the song, I wish Mike had done more soulful songs, espicially towards the end, his voice just fits that style so well

Agreed. He and John Barnes worked so well together and we probably could've gotten this song on Bad instead of MITM if he finished it.

First time I heard Changes melody, it reminded me of that "you can rip my shirt" part in Eaten Alive, that was the basis idea as well for the bridge on Bad Attitude, but I liked that line from Changes so yes we borrowed it, only like 5 people probably realized it at the time it came out.

True, but then how could someone surmise that it could’ve been better than “Man in the Mirror”? “Changes” is good but MITM at a basic songwriting level is miles superior.

To me, an unreleased MJ track or leak is welcome when it’s complete enough (or different enough from previous versions) to be added to one of my MJ playlists. So over the last week, the only leaks that « made it » are Remember What I Told You and, just barely, Jane is a Groupie. Things like Changes or Family Thing don’t make it.

So based on that rule, Rocker sounds like it would be worth it to me. It sounds complete enough.
