It's not only a continuation of the same smears against Michael's defenders that have been continuous ever since 2003, the same lazy and warmed-over takes of "the fans are crazy and blinded," but it's very much in line with the same type of people that say "Johnny Depp didn't win, he got a pass simply because his crazy fans harassed and smeared Amber Heard, and social media warped the verdict."

Interesting how it claims that "this public minority hijacked the process and has kept the majority interested in truth silent, because they'll be harassed."

No, if anything, that applies to people not sticking their necks out too much for the likes of James Franco or Marilyn Manson; so many people know these claims are garbage, but they aren't going public with their support.

There's a really famous Simpsons episode from 1994 called "Homer Badman," which demonstrates exactly how Michael has been treated, especially this segment where Homer does an interview to tell his side which is then quite blatantly manipulated:
