The green bars on posts?

So near your achievements you get these green bars. Mine says I will become famous soon, ha! What are these, and how are they determined?

So near your achievements you get these green bars. Mine says I will become famous soon, ha! What are these, and how are they determined?

They are just standard little expressions that change, as your number of posts increases and you pass certain levels of achievement, in terms of your reputation points and your number of thanks, etc. They are a function that is built into the forum structure; they're not decided by the staff, or anything like that. For example, I have three green bars and the expression that goes with that is that I am a "glorious beacon of light"....lol

If you go to your Settings there'll be a list of the reputation points you've received and given to others. So if you want more green bars, spread the love and give some positive reputation to other members and you might get some back from them in return. You can give reputation by clicking the little badge/star shaped icon in the grey bar at the bottom of posts, next to the Thanks button.
