I am not sure if I remember the release of this collection, in June 2013!!
Personally, I think it's wonderful to have everything together, in one place.

Feel free to discuss! :p  (y)

It was a digital only release.
And it’s still available on iTunes.
For the reason you stated it really is a great collection to start:
Every studio album + live at wembley.

When you combine it with the release of the same day, the so called „Ultimate Fan Extras Collection“ you really should have every song officially released up until that point (2013).

A phat minus regarding the second collection is that there are 3 certain songs included in it…

I wish the fans extras collection was on streaming services. I remember really liking it when I used to use iTunes.

I really liked it too. I think I bought it and downloaded it. It's sure to be somewhere in my MJ music collection. :D

The fan extras one was really cool. A lot of stuff in there that more casual fans might not be aware of.

Indispensable? Come on, it doesn't even have Music & Me!

Was trying to find some information on this album yesterday so it's a coincidence this post came up. I'm only interested in the Wembley CD as the DVD audio is awful but is Apple music/ITunes the only place you can get this collection?

Probably.

"Music and Me" is on the Motown label. If you read my original post properly, you'll see that "Indispensable" was released by Epic.

It was not really a good idea to include the 'BAD Tour Wembley' live album, because it is not a studio album, so it feels out of place on 'The Indispensable Collection' compilation box.

Also, this live album is an album that Michael Jackson (when he was still alive) never gave his consent for its official release (unlike the included 7 studio albums), so in that sense it does not fit again this compilation box.

Yeah I know, I'm just being a bit ironic because I really like the Motown era ! (And anyway, some Epic releases include some Motown stuff.)
