yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy shes back shes back
Jordan is crushing all before her. As you can imagine she would. Just her vocal roar alone is enough to crush any man within a 50, 000 yard radius.
I love that you have seen Michael's artistry live.
Not as much as I would have liked. Missed all the early stuff, which is probably OK. Saw No Fire Escape In Hell in 86. That was the one where I went along with almost zero expectations. Blew my freakin' mind. I went along towards the end of the second week, the Saturday was going to be the last show but they announced an extra show - one of his friends had died so they did a charity benefit thing. Anyway, I bought 4 tkts, took along 3 peeps with me who had no clue who this guy was. He blew their tiny minds.
In 1988 I saw I Am Curious, Orange 8 times. Yep, 8 times. And I would have gone to more if I could've got more tkts. Fkn awesome. Not much more I can say, really.
In 1989 he did Heterespective at the Anthony D'Offay gallery and I was lucky enough to get a ticket - only one but he only did 10 shows and the tickets were like gold dust. Anyway, it was beautiful. Very intimate. Emotionally wrenching, though.
Now he did 2 big pieces in the early 90's, both of which I missed, reasons, fed-up bc it was here that he used T.Rex and the Pistols. So I missed out there. Then he crashed and burned. Big time. He was, um, absent for several years. His Mum put him back together. He returned, very low-key, in 1998 with current/SEE which was flawed - to some degree - but also wonderful. I did that one 5 times. Very, very different. I'm so glad I saw it. Haven't seen anything since.
He excites me so much
I get it.
See i am still thinking about it
I'm now singing Curious, Orange by The Fall in my head.
