Meet Halo Jones. If you haven't already, that is. Some people say Tank Girl was a rip-off of HJ. I never liked either of them, tbh, but Halo did have a certain cool about her. Plus, she's a British comic.

Can i answer that? you know looking at DD picture it is really intense to me! hes waiting . clock behind him ..foreshadowing time . its intense , so what attract me is that he will pounce at any given time. i love that zin @zinniabooklover

Ah! You caught me reading an Empire magazine article about comics. It's good bc a couple of comics I used to read (but had forgotten and just could not remember) are in this list. Anyway, so is DareDevil so I'll be lazy and paste in the write-up from the mag.

He was created in the 60's so you could say the idea of a blind guy with enhanced senses is old-hat. Would they go down that path nowadays? Who knows? They were right about DD not having the popularity of Spidey or Batman or Superman but I loved him. The Frank Miller issues are the best ones.

FYI - idk if comics are your thing but Stan Lee and Jack Kirby are legendary figures in the comics world.
