My fave part of spring is the colours of the flowers. Especially the early irises, the dwarf ones. The blue ones and the purple/lilac ones. And all the yellow flowers. :)

Each thread on this forum has its own post counter. Your previous just happened to have been number 50,000.

The intense reactions to certain counter numbers are kinda a running gag on here. That's all. (still no win for byc/ssg)

Ah, lilac is a summer flower. Very pretty although I'm not mad keen on them. They are very thirsty and take up a lot of water. So you have to be careful. Plus, the flowers don't last long. But they are beautiful.

Do you prefer the lilac coloured ones or the white ones?

More lilac.
In our country it starts blooming at the end of May, sometimes earlier. That's why it's a spring flower for me)) And yes it continues to bloom into June.

Ooh, I think it does over here, as well.

The leaves of the lilac tree. Ngl, I prefer them to the flowers. The shape, the colour! Really gorgeous.
