After not appearing on Billboard 200 at all in 2017, Bad has been charting for a third consecutive week. It's selling really well so far in 2018 and hopefully it will get to 200 weeks before it turns 35 in 2022.

Thriller remains as consistent as ever. I hope to see it pass 350 weeks by the end of 2018 and I think it will.

P.s I long for a day when Dangerous will chart on billboard 200 again.

The MJ Estate should be (IMO) trying to encourage the idea that MJ was bigger than that through the projects they release and statements they make, but instead they focus on BAD and Thriller most.

BAD, Thriller keep selling consistently well in the last few updates I found.

Thriller always did well but Bad & Off The Wall are benefiting big time from their respective anniversary releases. IIRC, before the 25th anniversary release of Bad, it had only spent like 90 weeks on the Billboard 200. Now it's spent like 170 weeks and is always in the top 200 best selling albums every week. Off The Wall is also in most weeks a part of the top 200 best selling albums of the week. Clearly the anniversary re-issues have helped both albums gain new audience. Dangerous needs an anniversary treatment badly. Like you said, Dangerous is a great selling album with sales of over 30 million, yet it seems to have been forgotten by the public and that's sad. I hope & pray we get a 30th anniversary edition in 2021.

Before that we have MJ's 60th birthday and the 10th anniversary of his death. I hope the MJ Estate have big plans for those dates.

Just a question. Why are they counting sales for I Want You Back from 2009 and not from 1969 when it was released? Also on the BPI website, it states that the 600,000 sales for Thriller are from 2004. Again why are they not counting sales from when the song was first released as a single in 1983? Is there a rule that I'm not familiar with?
