At this pace it should easily outdo 2019, when it sold 110,000 units

Thriller is projected to enter the UK singles chart on Friday. It's current updated position is #24. It will be the song's first appearance on the chart since 2018. It didn't enter last year (presumably due to Leaving Neverland).

It did not chart because catalogue songs have to be actively promoted on the radio, it won't chart this year either for the same reason.

When is a view conuted in the statistics? Is it as soon as the video starts or do you have to see it till the end? Or how is a view counted?

Because if you have to actually see the entire video before it is registred as 1 view - that is extremely impressive for a 30+ mins film not many knows about really.

Or is it counted as 1 view as soon as the video starts - then people could just press F5 and refresh again and again to boost views. - But I don't know how it works?

No matter what 2.1 million views in just 3-4 days is amazing considering not many know about the video.
