It's so incredible, i just went back to previous figures: Last January MJ started out with rank 65 of monthly listeners on Spotify, 44.9 and 46.5 million in early January and February.
This year the first rank number reported was 45, now 37, with 60.5 million monthly listeners!
This can't possibly all be a biopic effect, has been a constant rise throughout last year.
What i find interesting too, he is higher in monthly listeners than in total streams. So compared toother artists, many people hear a song occasionally, rather than few people puttingonafull album. He is only slightlyclimbing up on that rank (currently rank 92 according to kworb, was around 96 last year).
So I understand there are many or increasingly more occasional listeners. Like when songs are included in more publicly available Playlist maybe.
