Michael Jackson’s “They Don’t Care About Us” is charting for the first time on Spotify’s Top Songs chart in Germany. The song previously reached No. 1 in the country in 1996.

Several Michael Jackson Albums Surge Back Onto The Charts

During any random week, a quick look at the United Kingdom's music charts will likely show that Michael Jackson's music is still being played by the general public. In that country, he often lands on a handful of lists with one of his most popular compilations, typically either The Essential or Number Ones – and during especially busy periods, both at the same time.

Occasionally, other releases by the late, great musician can also sell or stream well enough to appear, but the focus is typically on those releases that gather together his smashes. This week in the U.K., four full-lengths by Jackson live on at least one ranking, if not several. That roundup includes two compilations and two traditional studio albums, and those latter winners return to the musical lists during an exciting period for Jackson's catalog.

Michael Jackson’s HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I Returns to the Official Album Downloads chart at No. 80​

"They Don’t Care About Us" debuts on both the Official Dance Singles and Official Singles Sales charts in the U.K. this week, opening at Nos. 39 and 82, respectively. The tune also finds its way back to the Official Singles Downloads roster, where it can currently be located at No. 70​

Michael Jackson’s Bad surges onto the Official Albums chart, at No. 94. Bad launched at No. 1 on the main albums ranking back in September 1987 and went on to rule for five consecutive frames.​

The Essential Climbs lifts one spot to No. 5 on the Official Albums Streaming chart, returning to its all-time high; also improves slightly from No. 8 to No. 6 on the Official Albums rundown.​

Number Ones Appears on Four Albums Charts in the U.K. and it improves its standing on each and every one of them, finding space inside the top 40.​
