Hiyeee Everyone, Please let me know if you have ever seen this because I have never seen this statement from Akon before but I knew he always 1000% defends Michael so when I found this post from Facebook today and this Instagram post from the Shoutouttvblog which is Nigeria's Number one entertainment blog.The Shoutouttvblog Article:

Akon emphasized that the negative narratives surrounding Jackson were fabricated.
Recalling their friendship, Akon shared, “Michael Jackson was a very good friend of mine. We had regular,
casual conversations like any friends would.
He was human, just like us, and he had the same interests.” He noted that Jackson preferred supermodels over thicker women
and described the intense scrutiny Jackson faced, asserting,
“They monitored him constantly to find something to use against him.
When they found nothing, they fabricated the story about him being inappropriate with children because they often saw him with kids.”
Akon further explained vitiligo, a condition that causes skin discoloration, stating, “It can happen to anyone.
They assumed that many Africans were unaware of this condition and spread falsehoods to tarnish his image.”
He underscored the importance of protecting Jackson’s legacy, stating,
“We must all take responsibility for safeguarding his memory.
There will never be another Michael Jackson.”
