Hi everyone. This day feels very surreal, just as the whole trial has I suppose. Firstly, I want to say I massive thank you to everyone who helped with providing summaries, links, information etc. It meant so very much.
It dawned on me that this is the last thing we have to do for Michael. This really is It. We cared about him so much and he deserves to have justice finally. I don't believe he ever got justice in life and he needs it in death.
What I would like to ask everyone is please, once the closing statements are finished and the jury is given the case, close your eyes and think of Michael. Think of all the amazing things he did for the world, for you personally and the fact that him being on this Earth made a difference. A huge difference that can't even be put into words. Think of his beautiful smile and his longing to make the world a better place.
Send these thoughts out or if you believe in God, then say a prayer. Don't focus on any negatives, any anger or hate. Just let love and grief wash over you. Keep thinking "Michael deserves justice"
This is the power of positive thought. Hopefully the universe will respond. Even if you think this is silly and pointless (it may well be!), at the very least, our thoughts will be connected.
We did this back in 05. Kept thinking "Michael's innocent" and I believe that it counted for something.
