I think the vocals from ‘the toy’ combined with the instrumental from ‘best of joy’, would make the perfect song 🎵

I like that the digital version of thriller 40 has the ‘beat it’, ‘wanna be startin’ somethin’, and ‘p.y.t (pretty young thing) demos. it also has the ‘thriller 25’ remixes. everything relating to the album is in one place.

I like the mega mix. it reminds me of the house music from the nineties, which I enjoy.

Too many cooks in the kitchen as far as producers. When it was Michael and maybe 2 others working with him, times were better.

Also too many songs of similar style thrown together. The album needed better spacing of music genres between one another.

This was not really the case.

Many of his weakest songs had 1 producer, or 2 co-producers.

For example:

- 'D.S.'
- 'She Drives Me Wild'
- 'I Can't Help It'
- 'Just Good Friends'
- 'Get On The Floor'
- 'Can't Let Her Get Away'
- 'Childhood'
- 'Girlfriend'

The songwriting aspect of a song (melody, rhythm, groove, hook, bridge, etc) determines if a certain song would become strong or weak, and not how many people produced it.

I Can’t Help It, Get On The Floor and Childhood are weak songs?

Get on the floor is not a weak song. That's just your opinion.
I can't help it is anything but a weak song.

did you know that ‘nightline’ was eventually given to the pointer sisters? I think it suits them.
they were also featured on ‘we are the world’. it was speculated that their song ‘he’s so shy’ was about Michael.
here he is singing their song ‘automatic’ backstage at the Grammys in ‘84 with Emmanuel Lewis

Really? From the finished Thriller outtakes (Hot Street, Carousel, She's Trouble and Nightline), I consider Nightline the weakest.

Night Line was first released by Ellen Foley, after that by Pointer Sisters and by Randy Crawford (on her album Night Line). All in 1983.
