Not sure if this has already been posted, i may be a little slow on the uptake here but why is it Thriller25 shouldn't it be Thriller 26!! as thriller was released in 1982 right? not 1983.
 
it has just celebrated its 25 year anniversary in December 2007 so its not 26 years old till december 2008, therefore 25 year is correct!!! I suppose it should be called thriller 25.16 anniversary as is wasn't released until feb 2008 , lol
 
whatever.. I don't think Thriller 26 would have had caught on as well.. Usually anniversary albums etc. go by multiples of 5.
 
most of the promotion of Thriller took place in 83.
Thriller the video was premiered in 83, motown 25 was in 83 etc...
so to be quite fair: 83 was MJ's year with Thriller.
82 is mainly about the release of TGIM and the album.
celebrating T25 in 2008 makes sense IMO. :)
