TII Crew 2 Yr Contract

Knowing us MJ fans this has probably already been discussed but as we know, the TII crew has a 2 year contract. Being that the concerts are no longer going forward, why are they still bound by their original contract?

the contract was to perform on the tour so no tour no contract imo.there are no TII shows. its not like they were contracted to AEG to do anything and everything. and AEG want them to do something else for the next 2 years instead of the shows.

and the dancers are doing other things. on other ppl tours now for eg

I think they still have contract with AEG, the dancers anyway..hence them doing all the MJ stuff still, the promotion for the DVD, and the stuff with Travis etc.. also they are dancing for other artists who are contracted with AEG and performing at their venues ie. Whitney.

I'm not sure though.

I don't rule out the possibility that this contract had some terms referring to the crew's obligations aside from the O2 shows, which also applied in case the tour was cancelled for any reason.
AEG would want to recoup as much as possible from any alternative profits.
One of these terms that are definitely active is the confidentiality pledge which fully expains why no public statements were made by the TII crew.
I sure hope they are on the witness list for the trial and that this overrules any business deals.
I also expect to see some statements after their contracts expire.

wow did you really needed to post that long list ? Isn't it a little bit overkill? we would get your point if you just wrote "none of the movies that was released 2 years ago are currently being promoted".

I don't know whether they would continue to promote it for whole 2 years but the promotion is still continuing now with the recent misha gabriel - I danced with king of pop commercial and they are doing the "still the king" tour. so the promotion and stuff related to TII is still actively going on. and they could easily be planning future projects (such as MJ tribute show, new special extended edition TII, 3D TII etc etc).

i have no idea dangerous. i doubt promoters have a say as to who your dancers are gonna be. madonna is with live nation

i dont know id have thought a confidentiality clause would last for a long time why just last while you are under contract. i guess unless we get to see a contract we prob arent really gonna ever now. was there small print that if the concerts didnt happen or ended early they could go and work for someone else or would they be paid their agreed wage via the insurance and couldnt then work without agreement until the contract was over. but was the contract they signed a 2 year contract? or was it just for the london shows. i remember the dancers saying they were asked if they were gonna be free for the next couple of years. did that then chinese whisper into they singed contracts for 3 plus years? because i cant see them signing contracts that would last 3 years when mj hadnt even agree to anything.imo it was prob just a verbal yes ill be free to tour with the show if that happens.or the contract said IF the show tours you will be required to take part etc. whatever the senerio the shows didnt happen so i cant see how they are still under contract.especially when all that was agreed was the london shows which would now be over so their contract would now be over aswell. but as we have seen they are dancing for madonna etc so its not the theory i said above where u get paid your wage via the insurance and cant work until the london shows would have been over.

I heard that some of the dancers and crew wanted to talk to the press right after MJ died but were told they couldn't because of their two year contract and confidentiality agreements. They were threatened with being sued!
