Unfortunately Chris Arsenault died in a fire in the sanctuary earlier this week.
He died when he tried to save cats.He had mentioned that if something happened to him there were 2 other rescues to help the cats,
They are now working to help about 150- 200 cats who survived,He did get enough money to buy a new property ,One barn had just been finished and some cats has been moved there.If you want to know more his friend Lisa Jaeger make updates on facebook-perhaps other places too. She has also started a go fundme page.

It seems the thought is that Chris dream with the new sanctuary will continue.

This is bad.Every story doesn't have a happy ending, something rescuers see over and over again ,But we can't give up, other cats and kittens wait for help
