VINYL REISSUE HISTORY & INVINCIBLE?

I have the original HIStory LP and would always prefer it over a new pressing because I am sure the new ones will all be censored.
The original vinyl release of HIStory is my vinyl record holy grail. If I can ever find it for a good price and in decent enough condition, I'm jumping on it.

Yeah, there's no point buying a new version of HIStory. Has to be the original lyrics and Mussorgsky.

^^ it could get a Mofi release; time will tell
Yeah, at this point everybody should hold off buying crappy Sony versions and get the good MoFi versions instead.

And can MoFi CDs be played on normal CD players?

Yes. The good thing is that you will hear the same mastering on the CD and the SACD layer (someone correct if I'm wrong).
The theoretically bad thing it that you will hear 44.1 kHz 16-bit sound definition and not the SACD higher definition. Though as usual I would argue that since human ear doesn't hear above 20-22kHz (include the ears of the sound engineers who worked on the sound), the actual music content yet being at much lower frequencies and 44.1 kHz being enough to perfectly render frequencies up to 22.05 kHz (Nyquist-Shannon theorem), the higher definition, even you gear was able to play it, is mostly snake oil. Or one might ask a dog if they hear more noise than usual.

The 16-bit bit depth limit of CD can probably impact potential dynamic range. I'm not sure if you always hear it.
