They are an American rock band, and actually are very popular in Europe too (I live in Europe and have heard of them).
Wiki has more info about them if you like to know their story.

They have 6,579,760 strong dedicated fanbase in facebook, and MJ has 47,251,807 not so dedicated fans

I'm not disappointed as this voting for best fanbase=us, I'm more dedicated to vote Michael for ultimate Icon

Oh well, in the long run, this doesn't mean much. Most of the people on that list are flavor of the moment. Their star will fade out soon enough and so will their fanbase.

Michael on the other hand has had a dedicated fanbase since the 70's. MJ fans are awesome and one of the most dedicated ever. I don't need a poll to tell me that .

That was very close and we did jump in late in the game. we only lost by .20 so Im proud
we could have won but MJ fans werent not really as dedicated as we have been in the past
we only have a few pages in this thread in the past we would have had a lot more replies here.

Some tips
We have to be very very dedicated in the Ultimate ICON and keep that thread bumped up
Tweet all your votes and FB them keep it in from of everyones face so the link to vote is
readily available - post the link in the thread at least on each page when you say I voted
- so one doesnt have to go to top of page to get it - keep it at teir fingertips
